Robert Wales is the International Business Manager for the American Heart Association (AHA) since 2010. In his role at the AHA, he leads a team that manages the quality of training and development of the AHA’s international training programs. Prior to working for the AHA, Robert was the Training Officer and a Critical Care Paramedic for Pickens County EMS in South Carolina and was an adjunct faculty at Upstate EMS Council.Robert has served on the Board of Directors for the Commission on Accreditation for Prehospital Continuing Education since 2013, helping to advance quality continuing education for prehospital providers and promote the EMS profession.
