Even with all the data and technology we have, the art of selling will never go away. New technologies like AI (augmented intelligence) bring more science into selling, but the data is only as good as the action the data informs. Most companies do not have a data problem, they have an insight problem. In other words, their science won’t work until they add the art of selling.
