Thirst for God is normal for a true believer in Christ! After finding God as the source of life, every saint thirsts after Him day in and day out. But whenever anyone feels self-sufficient, he goes down the trail! Due to the persisiting problem with self many times believers get sidetracked from this great pursuit in life. Our souls must thirst for God all the days of our lives just as the deer pants for water. Believers must be like deer and not like the self-sufficient camels. Check your life to see whether you are truly born again if you do not thirst after God but thirst after every other perishing thing of the world!
