In 1963, Stan Lee decided to create a new team of superheroes. Unable to come up with a unique way that they all got their powers, though, he just decided that they were just born with their abilities. He grabbed Jack Kirby for the artwork, and behold, the X-Men were born!

Now, 51 years later, they have gained the ultimate honor! They are the subject of not just a Geek Salad episode, but a two-parter!
