I hadn't talked with my friend Beth Dougherty for over 20 years when I asked her to do this with me. We grew up together in South Carolina. I was in the choir. She painted. We sang Heartbreak Hotel on the sidelines when we were supposed to be cheering on the Boiling Springs Bulldogs. I have wanted to work through this book for so many years and am loving it.
