There's a big difference these days between what the public needs, and what they are actually getting. The social justice movement created change, and part of that change was drastically lowering the standards and overall mentality of policing across America. The result is cops who are afraid to do...anything. The fix is not as simple as ready, set, go. We need to incorporate the responsibilities of the public as well as political leaders both on the national, state, and even city level. If you want to see criminal enterprise be afraid, you need to give them something to be afraid of.
