Episode Eight: The Wiry Mama

In 2013, my Mama passed away unexpectedly. The writing of my memoir has been therapeutic, especially since losing her was so devastating. Eventually, while writing it I made peace with the grief. It is my hope that this podcast will inspire listeners to examine writing therapy as a tool to express, the sometimes difficult feelings, they may not yet, be ready to speak. I'd love for this to become a space where people can share stories of their loved ones and feel supported. I know this would make my Mama proud.
