Mindy was born and raised in metro Detroit, and holds a deep love for the great state of Michigan. She got her degree in film from Western Michigan University and enjoyed a genuine taste of the entertainment industry when the state incentives for the film industry were put into place. Mindy was one of the only locals working in the production office for the Clint Eastwood film “Gran Torino" which was filmed in Detroit.
