Listen Later

"I'm Bobbi Campbell, and I have 'gay cancer'." These words were printed in the San Francisco Sentinel in 1981. Bobbi Campbell was the first person in San Francisco to come out publicly with his 'gay cancer' diagnosis. He spearheaded a self-empowerment movement for people with AIDS, changing the healthcare system. This is his story.
