Welcome to the fourth episode of the For Common Good Podcast, where I speak to cultural practitioners and creative change-makers from across the globe getting insight into their journeys, their work and also discussing ways to promote social change through the arts. Joining me today is Dvir Rosen.
One of the first breakdancers in Israel, with years of breakdance experience, Dvir Rozen, is the producer and founder of the International Street Culture Festival the flagship event of his organization Street Art Production and the Breakdance Organization, which is part of the Israeli Breakdancing World Championships, which sends the winners to represent Israel at the World Championships in Germany.
Dvir is also the founder of Breakdance crew Lions Of Zion, a professional dance crew specializing in breakdance and hip-hop.
Founder of Israeli Parkour Team, the first one in Israel, he is also the creator of the theatrical breakdancing show "Dancing in the Street," an educational performance by the crew of Lions Of Zion, presented as part of Culture Basket an initiative for schools across the country, with an educational message against violence for youth.
