Tim Bolitho-Jones and Distorted Sound's resident history buff Tom Fordham take a deep dive into With Oden On Our Side by Amon Amarth. The Swedes' sixth full-length is often overlooked in favour of the follow-up, the landmark Twilight Of The Thunder God, but deserves reappraisal as a classic in its own right.

The lads have a painfully nerdy conversation about their personal histories with this album and discuss their favourite tracks, while taking numerous detours into Viking mythology. Also, Tim's son makes an unexpected cameo which could probably have been edited out but wasn't.
