This week we teamed up with Dr. Joe Zundell to talk cancer and nutrition. Joe is a Ph.D. scientist with over 10 years of experience in cell and molecular biology techniques with a research focus in discovering translational therapies in oncology. He possesses expertise in phenotypic and biochemical in vitro assays, cellular signaling and pathway analyses, small compound molecular screening in determining combinatorial therapeutic approaches, and in vivo models of cancer biology.

In this episode we discuss what exactly cancer is as well as some genetic and environmental contributors. We talk about sugar and cancer, artificial sweeteners such as aspartame and meat consumption and its correlation with cancer.
