These are some morning thoughts after Fajr about the importance of reading and realising why it’s so recommended.

Everything that is good from this and that will allow people to benefit is from Allah and anything that is wrong it’s from me and May Allah forgive me.

My mission is to my myself work on and help others work towards إحسان [iḥsān] (concept of excellence in behaviour and actions) to achieve the epitome of worship. To build ourselves towards wholistic excellence, to live a life that allows us to achieve a state of cotentment, or dare I say peace when we face our Maker on the Last Day.

My intention in pursuing this is to do my best to in getting closer to Allah by sharing thoughts, experiences, reflections and journey.

Firstly that I can learn from and thus be guided and help guide others along the way. I also want to use this to call others to building themselves up and towards Allah.

The pillars of life or qualities or skills that we want to build ourselves in will differ, but I believe by sharing them, we can help our respective and collective journeys inshaAllah.
