Nineteen years ago Richard was in bad shape. Diagnosed with Hepatitis C and severe liver failure, his only hope was a compatible organ transplant. After receiving a new liver, Richard made it his life's mission to bring awareness to organ donation.

Today he heads up a successful volunteer program he created and has been decorated with many awards from the Donate Life community. He has personally gotten over 20,000 people to sign up for organ donation and still going.
