Today I am joined by Dr. Denise Abston.  Denise is the Senior Pastor at Resurrection Free Methodist Church.  She has been in the ministry for more than 20 years.  She was the first woman ordained as an elder at the 107th Mid-America Conference of the Free Methodist Church (May, 2004). She completed her bachelor's degree in Legal Studies from Oklahoma City University, her master's degree in Leadership and Ministry from Greenville University in Greenville, Illinois, and her doctorate degree in Christian Counseling from Omega Bible Institute and Seminary in Swartz, Louisiana.  I know you will enjoy our conversations about the church, women in ministry and her upcoming book.
