Aaron's book of choice is Deschooling Society by Ivan Illich. Illich was a pretty radical dude :p
This episode is as much of a beginner's guide to philosophy of education, as it is a discussion about the book. There was a lot said that I chose to keep because it was interesting to hear about, and or it was helpful to know with overall regards to Illich's work.
It is always a treat to listen to someone talk about a subject that they clearly know a lot about and have a passion for. I thoroughly enjoyed recording this episode! And I must apologise for the amount of times I say the word 'cool' (what's tragic is that I actually edited out most instances of this).
