A curious law in Deuteronomy reveals Israel's attitude toward the wild and a repentant Job shows how we can reclaim that same attitude. 

Discussion Questions:

1. Why might God be interested in preserving the wild creatures in the ancient land of Israel?

2. Were other nations around Israel practicing such preservation?

3. Do you see value in protecting the wild creatures in your own neighborhood, town, state, country?

4. If you do see the value in protecting the wild animal and its habitat, how might you start acting on that value in your own life?

5. What kind of an impact would it have in your community if your church started working for the preservation of the wild creature?
