This weeks painting : Charles Towneley in his sculpture gallery by Johann Zoffani; 1782

It's a lovely little painting which is kind of done as a gaudy "see what i can do? you filthy sculptors are stuck with an unchangable mass, we painters are gods!!" - or thats what I've interpreted it as anyway.
