In this weeks episode I express my concern for us, my fellow humans and myself, and discuss how we can come together in community and in Christ to overcome the oppression of the world.
By stepping out in faith and action we invite God to help us to make powerful changes in our lives and the lives of our fellows.
Here is the prayer I offered, if you wish to utilize it in your own life:
“Father God, please, set me free from fear, from doubt, from bondage to sin.
Help me to be made new, in you and to better discern your perfect will for my life.
Please, pour into me to overflow such that my thoughts be your thoughts, my words be your words, my actions your actions, my will your will, my
heart your heart.
Guide me along the good and narrow path you have laid out for me, putting blinders on me such that I do not stray to the right or
left, do not succumb to the temptations of the devil, but flee from them in all their forms.
Father, please, guide the steps of my feet and bless the work of my hands such that I would serve you in all I do.
Thank you for your love and mercy and please, continue to activate in me all the fruits of the spirit and equip me with the complete
armor of God, giving me a true mind and body of Christ.
In Jesus' name, amen!”
Remember, fellow traveler, that God will provide us with the door but we must be the one to walk through it! And, all too often, Satan will use fear to try to block us from receiving the blessings that God has for us: so, when you are afraid or lacking in confidence or that little voice in your head is telling you that you shouldn't even bother, ask for God's help and He will show you how to walk through that fear into the blessings He has for you on the other side.
