The tragic story of the rise of young goalkeeper, John Thomson, whose career, and life came to an end at an Old Firm derby game at Ibrox, September 5th, 1931. Celtic and Scotland goalie, Thomson, was only 22 when he died following a collision with Rangers player, Sam English's knee.
