This week on Random Telly Vision, we’re watching Penny Dreadful. 

A much loved, but often overlooked, satirical look at the life of misshapen coins from the royal mint. Centred around the eponymous protagonist (a rather dreadfully shaped penny) it follows her journey alongside the equally misshapen shilling and guinea. 

We’re pulling your proverbial leg of course. This is in fact the tv series in part based on characters from gothic novels that ran from 2014-2016
