In 2015, Sylvester Turner had his sights set on becoming Houston’s next Mayor. This would be his third attempt at doing so over the last 25 years, so Turner knew he would need an edge this time, in order to finally win. And, Turner himself had a bit more of an edge, and he certainly wasn’t the same man that ran for Mayor in 1991.
