In this episode Steve goes on to talk about one of Sega’s most overlooked consoles, the Sega Saturn. He comments on the history that led up the console’s creation, it’s failure and eventual demise. Everything is outlined in an intelligent and engaging look at the Saturn and Sega in the mid-90s. 

On top of that, Steve talks a lot about the division between Japanese and western markets as well as Sega’s business and gaming philosophies. The episode ends with a brief discussion on why the Sega Saturn was an impressive and good console that deserves a lot more love than it got and some of the challenges gamers have with playing the console. There is also advice on methods in which new players can become acquianted with this forgotten gem of a console.
