On the latest episode of Behind the Monitor, we chat with Online Learning Services instructional analyst Jason Webb about the growth of extended reality at Syracuse University. Extended reality, or XR, is an umbrella term that encompasses three main subcategories: virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR) and mixed reality (MR). Webb describes several unique projects undertaken by professors in schools across campus, including the School of Architecture, the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, and the College of Visual and Performing Arts.
