Rather than writing a speech for George's Memorial Service, I decided to write and produce a little skit in-line with how I believe George would have acted when he met St. Peter and God at the Pearly gates in Heaven. My recipe for dealing with death & grief has always been to remember the lighter side of that person. The good times and laughter while calling out that person's persona and ideocracies all in good manner. It's not disrespectful, and I do mourn the loss of that friend or relative, but it's how I cope with it. I hope you find this short skit comforting because I believe George would.
