There is something I wanted to share here, in addition to Damien's recent article. (Sorry, I don't intend to turn this group into a lawsuit update group, but this is something actually MJ music-related.) When Dr. Papcun was working on his analysis of MJ songs and the Cascio songs, he called me at some point, before he reached his conclusion. And he said, sounding rather astonished (it's an approximate quote as I noted it down after the call):

"Michael is perfect… I have never seen anyone that good. He is beyond good. I had never studied Michael Jackson in depth, and now that I am, I am impressed. I have never imagined it, and I don't know anybody else who sounds as good."

That made me feel choked up and strangely proud of Michael. Which was silly - I'm not his soccer mom or anything. But it was like... scientific confirmation of what we knew all along - that he's a genius. There you have it.
