In these epistles we find a direct letter, or epistle to a young minister named Timothy who was Paul’s ‘son in the faith’. Paul set up Timothy to oversee the church at Ephesus. It is here that Paul gives advice and instructions regarding the establishment of Bishops, instructions for the believers gathering there, and is a true Pastoral epistle that is taught which many ministers today have read.
