On the 5th of December, the International School Uwekind joined the global community in commemorating International Volunteer Day. As part of our Middle Year (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP) International Baccalaureate our students engage in a variety of voluntary programmes. During their school years, our students are actively involved in numerous projects inspired by the things they feel passionate about. 

Our teachers have given their students endless support, resources and motivation to engage in different volunteer activities, since many of them have been involved in such themselves. Some of the projects concern environmental issues, such as preserving bees, recycling, engaging in training and activities protecting human and animal rights, etc. Here in this podcast, we have 9th-grade students, Nadezda Mishtalova, Nadezda Hristeva, Joana Boyanova, Teodora Terzieva, Hristo Vasilev and our teacher Ivan Iliev share their experience as volunteers.
