On 23 January 1974 residents living around the Berwyn Mountain range in Wales witnessed a number of strange lights moving thought the night sky followed by rumbling sounds that build up into an explosion which registered as a 3.5 magnitude earthquake. The military arrived on the scene and sealed off the mountain fuelling suspicion that something strange had crashed. Lights in the sky were seen from as far north as Scotland.
