In this #PFT, recently my 17 year old daughter made the deciision to push change forward. Just like her old man, in a past corporate life, Abby decided to speak on behalf of those that were uncomfortable or fearful of speaking out for themselves. When her journey started I told Abby that she was being noble but here eye was on a prize, to get the change she wanted to occur immediatley. Guess what, though? Shocker was that this did not happen. Here is a story of persistence, honest advocacy and realization that losses when advocating for change are more frequent than you think.
