Nazino Island was a Soviet gulag outpost located in Siberia 1300 miles away from Moscow. In May 1933 over 6000 prisoners were sent to the remote island with the intention of creating a settlement for further expansion. It didn’t go to plan. In the absence of food and shelter, humanity disintegrate and a lawless cannibal island emerged exposing extreme levels of human depravity.
