I’m excited to welcome Corey Poirier back today because I think he brings a unique perspective as an entrepreneur who has made a good portion of his income over the years speaking on stages and helping others to do the same. And as we all know, once busy speaking calendars have for the most part been wiped clean. And so it’s a really tough time for entrepreneurs who depend upon public events to earn income, promote their business, and to meet potential clients.
Corey’s personal story is one of overcoming obstacles. He was raised by a single mother, grew up in a small town, barely graduated high school (a teacher gave him a 49+1) and battled anxiety and hypochondria in his early 20’s. Since those days he has become a multiple-time TEDx speaker, the host of 3 top rated interview shows where he has interviewed more than 5,000 of the world’s top performers. He’s the founder of The Speaking Program, BLU Talks, and he has been featured in multiple television specials. He’s a columnist with Entrepreneur and Forbes magazine, and the best selling author of The Book Of Why (And How).
