Let's get started.
Hey everyone, we're back. And I'm really excited to jump into today's topic today. We are going to talk all about where you are versus where you could be in business. And I am here to tell you that no matter what phase you are in your business, as an entrepreneur, business owner, consultant, service provider, whatever you are, you are taking a chance. You have overcome some fear and are even trying to do what you are doing. And I want you to celebrate that. And today is about inspiring you and helping you understand that you have to know where you're at in order to move forward in your business. And if you're not evaluating where you're at in your business, then you're not going to be able to make those steps forward and keep growing in your business. And if you don't follow me on social media, which you guys should, it's just my name at Kamille Cawley.
I am putting up an entire series. It's a nine step series of the different types of entrepreneur there are. And I have gotten so many responses in regards to this series because many people were actually not aware. And I learned a lot about this from it's a decoding by billionaires and they go through this series. And I think that it's so important to understand this. And a lot of people are not aware that there are so many different series to coming and being a true entrepreneur. You know, we all call each other's entrepreneurs, business owners, but there are a lot of phases that we must go through in our business in order to become that fulfilled, time leveraging, investing entrepreneur that is doing multiple things and has multiple facets in their business. And I know that you guys probably as me look up to some of these big entrepreneurs that do this in their business, and you wonder how do they get to that point?
And that is what I'm going to talk about a little bit today. I am not going to go through all nine phases. So I do suggest you head on over to my social media, or you check out my next webinar where I talk more about this, but I think it is important for you to understand these phases. I'm going to be talking mainly today to those of you that are in that either solopreneur phase. And what I mean by solo preneur phase is that you're still doing everything on your own. You understand what you want to do and who you want to serve, but you're still doing it all on your own. You haven't hired, you, haven't delegated. Maybe you're still kind of creating an offer and understand your exact purpose or the results you can get for clients. And then I'm also going to be talking to that entrepreneur that is beginning to step out, maybe delegate has offers, knows who they serve, knows what they want to do, and they're trying to make an impact, but they've been stuck in that same group.
And I'm not saying that they're not doing well and they don't have some clients and they haven't realized their potential, but they know that there's more to come and they just don't know how to step away from that. So I'm going to be talking to those two groupings and let's start with that solo preneur. I think that it's really important, this solopreneur phase in the series goes from the seeker and all the way to the builder, which is kind of you transitioning from that solo preneur to learning, to step away, delegate, talk to others, maybe get a coach, maybe join a group program, attend a virtual event, something along those lines, that's going to shift your business into the next phase. And this person tends to be a little stuck. And I don't want to say that that's a bad thing. Like I said, every phase you go through is extremely important and you want to celebrate each of these wins.
But if you are at this phase, like I said, it's the starter to the promoter, to the builder. And you'll learn more about this on my page. If you go there. And I learned these steps and I learned how these go from a billionaire decode, which is from a billionaire info.com. And it's something that obviously it's for billionaire entrepreneurs. So I have taken this same process and kind of brought it to light for the everyday entrepreneur. But let's talk about that solopreneur. Now, like I said, you have begun to understand your ideal client and your niche, and you're becoming very consistent. But some of the things that I want you to start asking yourself is that are you planning to take that next step into being full time? So if you're not, if you're a solopreneur and you're not full time, you might be part time still, are you ready?
Are you taking that step? Are you ready to walk away from that steady job? Are you ready to start making income fully in your business? Are you ready for that? I know a lot of people say, yeah, of course I'm so ready to walk away from my nine to five job. It seems so easy, but there is some sort of stability and comfort in being in a steady job or a nine to five job. And there is some, it maybe it's health insurance, or maybe it's dental, or maybe you have children. And this is something that actually brings you income. So there is a moment where you might not be ready to step away. And I want to tell you that that is going to be one of the hardest steps that you make, but that shift in your business will also have shift in your mindset as soon as you're able to walk away from that nine to five job or that steady job that you might have, that is kind of holding you back from going full time into your passion and becoming a full time entrepreneur.
I want to say, say that this is a possibility for you and will only shift your mindset and transform everything that you are already thinking. And all of those goals or the things that you have set up will look possible because you'll actually have the time and the mindset to make those goals possible. So I want to say that if you're right here and you're trying to make that shift, it is going to be hard. I am not going to say it's going to be easy, but I know that you can do it and that you will have huge transformations and breakthroughs during that time. Now, some of the things I do suggest is that you start building a group or a support system, and I'll speak about this a little bit later on what a tribe, a community and a team really are. As I speak more about our full time entrepreneur, because this is what they're creating, but I want to say that it is really important that you start building a tribe.
Because if you have like minded individuals surrounding you, supporting you, maybe doing a mastermind with you that can help you understand that this phase is possible and this transformation is possible. Then you're going to be able to do it with their help. Do not keep trying to do this alone. I know when we have other jobs or other incomes coming in, sort of distracted by that. So we don't look out for other people to support us, but it is extremely important to have that group. Once you hit this next phase, which is a full time solopreneur. And like I said, when you're here, I know you know who you want to serve. You know what you want to offer. Maybe you've even gotten a program together. You're starting to get into the flow of things and you're speaking to your audience and your clients, and you're really starting to get out there.
And that's when you become a full time solopreneur. But in this phase, no matter what, I'm still calling you a solo preneur. Because even though you're figuring it out and you're starting to get it, you're still alone. You're still doing all of this alone. And I think, again, it is so important to understand that if you do not have some sort of backing some sort of people, because unfortunately a lot of times, unless the people in your lives are entrepreneurs, they may support you, but they don't know how to support you because they don't understand what you're going through to make these changes. To make these shifts into being an entrepreneur is not easy. It is not easy. Believe me, I have done this twice. I am a two time business owner before the age of 30 and ran a very successful business before this. And I spoke about this in my first episode.
So if you didn't listen, my first episode by myself, you didn't listen to it, go listen to it. But I have made the shift multiple times. I walked away from a very good business and I was entrepreneur at the time. And even making that pivot in my business to being a different type of entrepreneur and being a coach was scary, was hard. And I would not have done it if I didn't have my tribe around me. So no matter where you are at in this solopreneur phase, I want to push you to go out there and start meeting other entrepreneurs, other people that are going to understand what you were going through, because it's not going to be easy. There are going to be a lot of things that are confusing. You're going to be learning a lot. You're going to be trying to understand a lot.
And if you don't have people to talk to about it, you don't have people that get it, have been there, have done that such as myself. Then it's going to be really hard to get through it. We all need it. I'm sure. Again, if you follow some of the big coaches, they all have masterminds and groups that they were a part of where they're consistently with people that support them and people they're constantly learning from. So this is the same for no matter what phase you are in your business. And like I said, I believe you can do it. I know it's scary. So whether you have already dropped that nine to five and you had just started getting full time, or you're still trying to walk away from it, I promise you, you're going to have such a shift and it's going to be one of the best decisions you made.
If you truly know that entrepreneurship and following this passion and you have a true goal in mind, then I think it's completely worth it. And you can do it, but you do need some people there by your side to support you. Like they said, having, I have a husband, I have friends, I have a supportive family, but none of them are entrepreneurs. And although they support me all day every day and they believe in me, they don't understand some of the hardships that I go through. And they're not the ones that I can sometimes talk about I can vent to, but they don't always have this response that I need to hear in order for me to keep going. Because sometimes I just need someone to tell me, you can do it, Kamille. You've already gotten this far, look what you've done. This, you know, this is something that we all know is hard and I'm going through the same thing. I just launched something and no one signed up or whatever they've gone through these processes. So there are people that I can talk to.
Now, I'm going to switch gears just a little bit, and I'm going to go into my full time entrepreneur and any of you that ever need help that are in those early stages. And you're just making that switch into being that solopreneur. I want to tell you as a solopreneur, it's called a solopreneur for a reason because you're trying to do it all on your own. And it doesn't have to be that way. Where now, when we talk about our full time entrepreneur, our person that is actually in their business, they have been doing it for awhile. They are now starting to make sales, have consistent offers, doing ads, doing different things in their business. They are at a different point than our beginning stage entrepreneurs. And of course, you'll get there. If you keep following everything that you need to follow. And again, I think it's really important to understand where you're at in order to get to this point, but I'm going to talk to these people because I think that this helps out our solopreneurs understand that it's not just about, you know, selling the big program or getting clientele.
It's also about understanding that there's a transformation from going from a solopreneur to an entrepreneur and further. So in the entrepreneur phase, you are, if you're full time building a few different things and you should be building these few different things, and I'm gonna explain the difference between these few things. You're either building a team, community, and a tribe. Now I want to explain the difference. I just kind of explained what a tribe was, was it's those people that are supporting you, that you can go to, that you can have maybe some free masterminds with you can contact when something is not fitting right or not meshing right in your business. And you're trying to understand it all a little bit better than you have your tribe and a tribe again. So important. I know a lot of people just don't get it. I've seen so many people reach out to others or meet people at events, well we're not meeting people at events right now.
Right. But you know, in the past and they connect with them on social media and then they never do anything with that afterwards. But I'm talking about these are the people that you get to go to and say, Hey, I'm thinking about doing a giveaway, or I think I'm about doing a webinar. I'm thinking about doing a conference or I'm thinking about doing a summit and they are running to your side saying, Hey, yes, that's amazing. I want to be a part of that. How do I get in, what do I do? And for me, I just held a summit in June, which had 10 speakers, 11, including myself, I am hosting this same summit, but on another level and even crazier and greater, in November and all of those people and more were gung ho to be a part of this and work with me and help me create this amazing summit.
And I am so excited. It is called the Abundant Entrepreneur Summit. If you've not heard about it we will be doing, it's called TAES for short, TAES 2.0 in November. It's going to be absolutely crazy and amazing. And I'm so excited for it. We're bringing in more speakers, more information, more workshops, just more connection. It's going to be amazing. But that is what I'm talking about is that when I decided to do my first summit, I had people that I could reach out and within an hour were telling me, what do you need? How can I be a part of it? When is it, let me know. I'm there. That is your tribe. That is the people that truly back you. That is the people that are there for you. That is the people that want to grow with you are above you or a little bit below you. And they want to grow with you no matter what. And they want to help you grow and you help them grow. That is your tribe. I think there's a difference when people think they have a tribe and it's just someone that they talk to every here and there, that is not your tribe member. That is not the person that's coming to grow with you. Next, we have your community. Now, a lot of people go well, what's the difference? Your tribe and your community are the same thing. And I want to say, no.
Your community is your group of people that are going to buy from you. Your tribe are the people that you kind of work with. They're the tribe that you do things with. This is the group that is going to buy from you or interest in you or validate what you're doing. And they are always there every time you're offering something, putting something out. They're you're raving fans, they're your referrals, they're your potential clients. They're your clients. These are the people that are in your community. So let's just say you have an audience of a thousand on your Instagram and you have 500 people that are continually. Every time you're posting. Every time you're doing something, they are validating it. They're always on there going, Oh my gosh, this is another great video. Oh my gosh, like I just learned so much. They're showing up to your webinars. They're showing up to your things and maybe they haven't purchased from you yet, but they're paying attention.
They see, they hear you. And they know every time you put out something it's valuable. And that is your community. That is the group of people that you are trying to build. And I think that this here, the community part is one of the hardest parts of a full time entrepreneur that has not gotten into that phase of having a full team, a full community. And, and they don't have that full tribe. Maybe they have the tribe. Maybe they're starting to build those team members, but they haven't gotten a full community. And I mean, these are the people that are constantly purchasing from you. They're constantly buying from you. So at certain phases, as a full time entrepreneur, we are doing well, we are growing. We are building, but there is a cap to that unless we learn how to build a community behind us.
That means that is really, even if you want to say babying that those relationships, but if you have previous clients that you are not talking to anymore, you don't pay attention to. You don't send messages to you. Don't check in on. Then you're losing that community. I promise you that if you are sending out welcome packets to people, when they first sign up with you, even when they're done with their program with you, you're constantly checking in. Maybe you give them a couple extra months of group training or freebies to keep them going. Something that keeps that person saying, wow, I didn't just pay for three months with this person. She really cares about everything that I do in my business. She really cares if I grow, if I do well, if I keep going, even when we're done. And I think that that is so important to make sure that you have that community.
Because without that, there will be a cap on the amount of sales that you make. You also have to go out there and start building your community. You can't just sit around and expect them to come to you. Whether it's via social media, whether it's via ad, whether it's via webinars, you have to be making those steps and you have to be doing them in a very consistent manner. And you have to do them properly in order to keep building that community. You need to be willing to get on Facebook pages and reaching out and asking questions and doing market research. You need to be willing to do webinars once a week or once a month. And depending on where you're at as a full time entrepreneur, in order to keep bringing people in, you need to be speaking on other people's platforms so that you can get your face in front of new people that might want to be a part of that community.
So this is way different than a tribe, as you can see. And then there's that team, your team is also really important, especially now that you may be a full time entrepreneur and you're starting to launch and you're getting organized and you're being efficient. And now, like I said, you're starting to even get some delivery systems in place, but there's a lot to being an entrepreneur. And I ensure that if you've been doing this for a little bit, you know, we know how crazy there is and how many steps there are. And you have to be willing to build that team. And the team is two different versions. I want to say that there's two parts to your team. Your team could be maybe a group approach group coaching program that you're in, or it could be your coach. So it might be people that you actually pay for like, as in to get their expertise to grow as in they're part of your team, or they might be people that you pay to do the work, a VA, an OBM, a website designer, a copywriter, any of those things that you need that you're not good at.
And so I think it's really important to understand that if you don't have these three aspects in your business, then you will be stuck in a certain phase of being an entrepreneur for a long time. And it, like I said, if you go to my social media, you can see that there is nine different phases. I am talking about phases five around five right now, maybe six, this goes to nine. There are so many different phases that we go through. This is the original ones I talked about in the solopreneur. That wasn't even one. We have our people that were dabbling. They're the seekers, they're the beginning people. And then we have our true entrepreneur and it leads from owner to investor, to entrepreneur, which that is completely different when you're in an investing phase. When you're hiring a second level of leadership, when you are now moving on to maybe a different aspect of your business, while you trust, and you have a team underneath you, that's leading and growing the other part of your business that you originally started, there are many phases, and that is obviously the higher phase of being an entrepreneur.
But I think understanding that in order to start getting there, you have to have team members, especially ones that you can trust, because when you want to start building that second group of leadership or trusting that you can leave it up to your team to take care of certain parts of your business, while you focus on the other parts, maybe you're amazing at the sales and the bringing in the clientele. But for me, I'm horrible at technology. So I hire out a lot. I have an amazing VA. I have an amazing podcast editor. I have, I'm growing my team. I have a coach. I invested in my own coach. Who's taking, who's teaching me the parts of my business that I need to grow and I need to be better at. And I have people that are, and she's helping me build my website, which again, I'm not great at those things, but I am good at communicating and connecting and bringing people in.
I'm good at building these communities and these tribes and these teams. I just need the help with the other things in my business that I don't want to focus on. I'm good at sales calls. I like bringing people in. I like to talk to people that is something that I'm good at. So I want to focus on those things. I want to focus on the lead generation. I don't want to be focusing on creating my website for, you know, five years, cause I'm really bad at that. And it will take me absolutely forever to make something like that. So it is really important at this phase in your business. And I understand if you're in that solopreneur phase, it's going to take you a little longer to get to this point because it, you know, you might not have the income yet obviously to hire out, but it is important to start realizing that if you aren't good at certain parts of your business, then you might want to look into other things that are more important to work on and really plan that out.
So again, for me, I was not very good at website design. I am not good at websites. It's not one of my fortes. And so I decided to make a very simple website and leave that as is, and really focus on building the things like my social media and my webinars, because those are things that I'm very good at. I like to speak. I like to talk to people. I like to interact with people. So those are the areas that I am good at. And I've obviously done a decent job building both of those things and doing well through both of those things. And now, since I have focused on the things that I'm good at, I am now being able to hire people to do the things that I'm not good at. And during that solopreneur phase, those are the things that sometimes you have to decide.
I know we tried to do it all. And if you listened to my first episode alone, I talk about this podcast and how much I have been wanting to do this podcast. And I've been wanting to do this podcast for absolutely ever. It is something that I really wanted to get out there. But again, the editing process, the things like that, aren't just something I'm not very good at. And so I just couldn't get to that point up until recently because I needed to hire that out. I did not have the time I wanted to keep working on building my client base my potential clients, my things that I'm good at. And I didn't have the time to do that. I've had over 30 episodes backlog for a really long time. I've been doing interviews on my Instagram for forever. Like I said, I have a huge groups of people that are in my tribe that I speak to all the time.
I'm going to be recording another episode in just a few minutes here. And it's something that I've had, but unless I could actually delegate it out, then I wasn't able to do this process and take care of the podcast. Now that I am at that point in my business. And I'm able to delegate that and have someone do that for me, I have now been able to get this podcast out. So I know that we talked about a ton today, guys, and I'm really, really excited to see where some of you guys are at. Like I said, go to my social media, go reach out to me. If you're still trying to figure out maybe what phase you are in. I dropped in each of these things. I've dropped questions. There's so many things that can help you understand where you're at and what phase and how to get to the next thing.
I will be doing a webinar shortly on some of these on how to truly get to the next step in your business. But I want you to remember that building a team, having a tribe, having a community are some of the most important aspects. And I think that they get overlooked because people don't really understand what each of those things are, but a tribe, no matter what phase you are at. And if you know me, I am all about tribe. I'm all about collaboration. I'm all about community. And if you are in the beginning stages, the middle stages, you are far along, no matter what, you need people that are around you, that support you want to grow with. You have been where you're at or can teach you and mentor you on something. This is something that you really want in your business and what you really need to have in your business.
No matter what I promise you. I came from a business that I walked away extremely, and again, I had told my whole story in the first episode, but I came out extremely lonely. I felt like I really just didn't walk away with any friends in that business. And that's because I went about that business, the wrong way I went about it in a competitive nature. I lost my passion for it. I was working really hard to only build my clientele rather than take care of the clientele that I had. And although it was a successful business, I walked away extremely alone. And that was why I walked into my next business and my business coaching with the goal in mind that I was going to change that. And two weeks after I let go of my first business, I went to a week after my wedding, to which everyone thought was absolutely crazy.
I went to a women's event and it changed everything for me. And I met so many women that made me realize that I was capable and I could do this. And though there has been lots of bumps in the road, and there has been lots of ups and downs. I am here now to you guys and saying it is possible. And I want you guys to know that you can do this no matter what phase you are at, no matter if you're feeling stuck, no matter if you're feeling maybe lost or unsure, or you're having negative thoughts about where you're at, and you're worried that you're going to have to go back to your nine to five, or you're never going to quit your nine to five or whatever it is. I want you to know that it is possible. And there are other people just like me out there that are willing to support you and help you through this process. So thanks again, you guys for listening. And I am so excited to hear from you guys and know where you're at, because I think it's so important. And I know that each and every one of you can do this and I believe in you. So get at it, figure out what phase you are in and I'm ready to see all of you grow. Thanks again, guys.
