My very special guest today is Justine Martin ...

Justine's journey over the past decade is a testament to her remarkable resilience. Despite facing multiple health challenges, including a diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis and three concurrent cancers, she refused to let these obstacles define her. Instead, she delved into the world of business, successfully owning and managing seven enterprises under the Justine Martin Corporation. Her experiences have made her an inspiration to others, and she has been recognized with numerous national business awards.

Justine is also a published author and is currently working on an anthology of stories from authors with MS. Her journey of reinvention and adaptation serves as an inspiration to all who encounter her.

Key Moments:

Justine was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2011 which ended her corporate career. She was told she would never work again.

Justine started learning how to paint as a hobby which eventually turned into a business. This gave her back her independence and confidence.

Justine's first success of selling a painting for $300 felt like earning $3 million as it gave her back her independence.

Seeking help from counselors, mentors, and coaches was important for Justine's resilience and transformation.

Justine has gone on to build multiple businesses from her art including keynote speaking, children's books, and a publishing company.

Justine has won over 40 awards for her art, speaking, and coaching.

Justine has also been diagnosed with various cancers on top of multiple sclerosis but continues to remain positive and modify her approach.

Justine's story and journey serves as a survival guide to inspire others.

Justine is launching an anthology book in September with 25 authors who share the common thread of having multiple sclerosis but with different stories.

Justine emphasizes the importance of accepting adversities, modifying and adapting, and not fighting against circumstances.
