Chris successfully transitioned Positive Canine Training to an online program during COVID and now focuses on higher net worth clients. He emphasizes work-life balance and resilience, offering a VIP program for clients with a net worth of $10 million or more.

Chris started Positive Canine Training 14 years ago as a hobby that turned into a successful business with 17 dog trainers.

Chris had a corporate career at Telstra before starting the dog training business. He realized he had a passion for dogs and a knack for communicating with people.

Chris started training dogs for friends and it grew organically from there. He hired staff before making it his full-time job.

Chris wishes he had made the transition to his own business sooner, before taking on responsibilities like a mortgage and family.

Chris used Google Ad spend and marketing to grow his business initially, as well as going door-to-door to vet clinics and pet stores.

During COVID lockdowns, Chris pivoted by creating an online dog training program that made him $10,000 from one webinar. This led to the creation of PK9 Online.

The rising cost of living and interest rates have impacted Chris's business by reducing the number of new customers.

Chris is focusing on staying strong and retaining his staff, and targeting higher net worth individuals as customers through a VIP program.

Chris's ideal customers are now C-level executives and entrepreneurs with a minimum net worth of $10 million.

Chris's next big project is focusing on and expanding his Peak Hanoi VIP program for high net worth clients.
