Rodney Alcala, often referred to as the "Dating Game Killer," was a convicted serial killer (amongst other heinous things) in the United States between 1971 and 1979. His crimes were marked by extreme brutality and premeditation, and he is believed to have murdered at least eight people, though investigators suspect the true number of his victims could be much higher, even reaching into triple digits. In this episode we discuss his early life and the crimes he committed before appearing on the TV show "The Dating Game" in 1978.
