Jane Faulkner is a psychotherapist who uses Gestalt and Equine Assisted Therapy in her practice. She currently works at the Gwinganna Lifestyle Retreat as an Equine Assisted Psychotherapist and retreat facilitator. She is the Director at Equine Assisted Therapy Australia, an RTO providing Nationally recognised training in Counselling and Equine Assisted Therapy. Jane uses the following to support her clients: Gestalt Therapy Equine Assisted Therapy mindfulness techniques Art therapy Yogic philosophy; and horsemanship to support her clients. Her clients include corporate CEO’s seeking career coaching and support, victims of trauma, adoptees with attachment difficulties, autistic individuals, people with anxiety and depression, families, couples and teens feeling stuck, frustrated, and lost. Jane was diagnosed with PCOS and had severe acne, low self-esteem, and chronic fatigue syndrome throughout her teenage years. This led to an exploration of many different modalities of healing, travelling around the world in search of health and wellness. Jane started her career as a Registered Nurse and worked in the hospital setting and community both here and overseas. As a result of her own ongoing health difficulties she attended a therapist, and it was this experience that lead her to begin her journey into becoming a therapist herself.
