The Body of Christ is an equipping mechanism to help us grow into fullness. Our passage today includes the concept of “speaking the truth in love.” What does that mean? Is it better for people to just be quiet and mind their own business, or how should the church help each other to grow? Jesus seemed to model that for us by being compassionate and yet assertive when necessary. Let’s look a little closer. There is great potential for growth.
