There were many different types of metal armor invented in the Medieval Ages.  As weaponry advanced so did the evolution of armor.  Many different setups were created for a variety of battle situations.  We don’t always think about being at war but Paul reminds us not to become complacent.  We are in a battle with the evil one thus we have been equipped with the armor of God.  So be alert and stand in God’s mighty power.
