He started under one of the most well known promoters in Texas who was in on the cusp of wrestling's expansion on cable TV, he now runs the school founded by another star who got his start in the same promotion, he is Rudy Boy Gonzalez

The native Texan has traveled throughout the US and Mexico working with such diverse promotions as Ring Of Honor, CMLL in Mexico and the then WWF. 

He currently spending time not just in the ring (last weekend with our friend Tracy Smothers) but passing on his knowledge and experience to others as the head of the Texas Wrestling Academy, the second longest running training school in the country.
