The Erased team also discusses the recent Northern California rain deluge and the partnership between Hertz & Tesla.

On Oct. 2, 2021, nearly 150,000 gallons of oil started gushing out of an underwater pipeline and spread out to the nearby Huntington Beach, California coast. The impending oil spill caused quite a bit of damage along the Southern California coast - mostly in Orange County. P-Mo, Dana and Mary discuss the oil spill and its impacts.

The latest episode of Erased deep-dives into Big Corporations and their fight against Pres. Joe Biden's climate agenda. Exxon has been spending a lot of money on ads, stating Biden's climate plans are a threat to energy jobs. Then there's Amazon, Apple, Disney, Google's Alphabet and Microsoft, who are paying lobbyists to either soften or oppose Biden's proposals, which are considered by leading Democrats as the most ambitious in the country's history. All this while these same companies say they are trying to implement sustainability goals, such as being carbon neutral by 2030. So what gives? Are these companies talking out of both sides of their collective mouths?

Hosts P-Mo and Dana Miller answer a few questions submitted to them by the Erased audience. Questions range from what we can do on a daily basis to limit the effects of climate change and what problems are we facing with sea level rise or extreme weather events. We received dozens of questions and they will be answered over the course of several episodes. In fact, we'll be doing one Audience Q&A per month.

Also on the agenda: Ithaca, NY raises money to "climate-proof" its buildings, and a federal judge blocks an oil pipeline in Alaska.
