About Spain🇪🇸:

Spain is a major European nation located on the Iberian Peninsula, sharing borders with Portugal, France, and the Mediterranean Sea. Known for its cultural diversity, historic cities, and strong regional identities, Spain combines centuries-old traditions with a modern democratic society. Its capital, Madrid, serves as the country’s political and economic center, while cities such as Barcelona, Seville, and Valencia highlight Spain’s regional cultural richness.

Spain’s history reflects the influence of many civilizations, including Romans, Visigoths, and Muslim societies that shaped the Iberian Peninsula for centuries. The unification of Spanish kingdoms in the late 15th century and the voyages of explorers such as Christopher Columbus helped establish Spain as a global power during the Age of Exploration. Spanish language, culture, and institutions spread widely across the Americas and beyond, leaving a lasting global legacy.

Today Spain is a parliamentary constitutional monarchy under Felipe VI and a member of the European Union and NATO. Its economy is diverse, relying on tourism, industry, agriculture, renewable energy, and services.

Spanish culture is internationally known for its cuisine, festivals, music, and architecture. Regional languages and identities—such as Catalan, Basque, and Galician—contribute to a dynamic cultural landscape. Overall, Spain stands as a country where historical heritage, vibrant cultural life, and modern European integration come together.

Greco-Spanish relations🇬🇷:

Relations between Greece and Spain are traditionally friendly and based on shared Mediterranean perspectives and strong cooperation within European institutions. Both countries collaborate closely through the European Union and NATO, often supporting similar positions on economic coordination, migration policy, and regional stability. Bilateral ties are strengthened by tourism, cultural exchange, and growing academic cooperation. As southern European states with comparable economic and social challenges, Greece and Spain frequently align on issues such as cohesion policy, maritime affairs, and Mediterranean cooperation, maintaining steady diplomatic dialogue and mutual support within European frameworks.
