A 2012 graduate of USC's film program, Eric's first job was to apprentice an up-and-coming producer on the Paramount lot. That producer's name was Jason Blum (Paranormal Activity, Insidious), a groundbreaking filmmaker who introduced Eric to the secret sauce of micro-budget film. Eric has since ventured out on his own, co-founding Diablo Entertainment in 2014. Diablo enjoyed vast success with films like Sundance's CARNAGE PARK and SLEIGHT and TriBeCa's FLOWER before he left to start Defiant. Eric was recently included in Forbes' 30 under 30 for 2018's Hollywood & Entertainment List., having independently produced twenty-two features since 2012.

Raised outside of Philadelphia, Bull founded and managed three profitable businesses before the age of 21, ranging from a concert production company to a wrist watch brand. After graduating from Indiana University, Bull worked at the WME talent agency for two years where he reported directly to one of the partners. Bull moved on to join former Maker Studios CEO and Founder, Danny Zappin, as the Director of Business Development for his newly-founded media company Zealot Networks. At Zealot, Bull was responsible for programming and monetizing YouTube properties, most notably New Media Rockstars. Upon exiting Zealot, Bull met Eric Fleischman and together they have since made films such as Deep Murder, John Henry, Phobias and Rise. Bull joined Eric at Defiant Studios as the VP of Production and Partnerships in January.
