Eric Stefanski is an established artist from Chicago whose work has been featured worldwide. Practicing as a painter, his work reflects the humor and rejection that comes with having a studio practice. He explores themes of modern society, art history, pop culture, sports, labor, and even his own personal history. I came upon Eric's Instagram and instantly felt connected to his work. His paintings made me feel emotionally exposed as they engage in our romantic fantasies and are relatable for anyone who has fallen in or out of love, dealt with loss, and struggles with their flaws.
