Erik was homeschooled in high school and attended community college as a dual credit student before entering his undergraduate program in Chemical Engineering.  Join us to hear Erik’s journey from his chemical engineering program to medicine, switching specializations between three different options as his life moved in different directions.  Erik gives great advice about how to choose what kind of doctor you are going to be based on how you need or want your life to be outside of work.  We also talk about building relationships, teaching, navigating personal finances, the pandemic, using your gifts to serve others, and that it’s ok to change paths.
