Ep. 64: Erik Twist on the Problems of Democracy

Just in time for the election (almost), Erik Twist chats with Doug in some of the internal conflicts with liberal democracy. Their discussion s based largely on a book called The Demon in Democracy: Totalitarian Temptations in Free Societies by Ryszard Legutko, a Polish philosopher at Jagellonian University in Krakow.

Erik is a long time Catholic Phoenix board member as well as a former president of the board. He has lived in Phoenix for most of his life and works in the education field. He studied political science at Trinity University in San Antonio and has a Masters in Divinity from Oxford.
