Erin Corwin was just nineteen when she vanished on June 28, 2014. She had told her husband, Marine corporal Jon Corwin, that she was going to nearby Joshua Tree National Park that day for some “me time” and to scout out locations for her mom’s upcoming visit. Shanti Cooper fell in love with David Tronnes after meeting in 2013 on Match.com. After a whirlwind romance, David and Shanti moved in together. First into a rented house and later into a beautiful, historic home in Orlando, Florida that David had purchased. A major home renovation ensued but countless delays resulted in the couple being displaced from their home for over 2 years.  An opportunity to appear on the show “Zombie House Flipping” surfaced. David saw this as a chance to finish their home renovation. But just as things were looking up for the couple, Shanti was found dead in their small apartment on April 24, 2018.
