On America's Roundtable — Erin Perrine, Director of Press Communications of Trump Presidential Campaign joins Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy on a discussion focusing on the US economy, strategic efforts on creating jobs and reviewing Joe Biden's tax and energy policy which raise concerns of costing American jobs as reported by The Wall Street Journal and other media groups. The discussion also places the spotlight on censorship imposed by America's big-tech companies controlling the social media arena.

In The Wall Street Journal, Philip DeMuth writes: "President Trump’s 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act lowered rates, widened brackets and simplified preparation." DeMuth further states in The Wall Street Journal: "The nonpartisan Tax Foundation concludes the #Biden tax plan would reduce the size of the economy by 1.51% over the long run and lead to 585,000 fewer full-time equivalent jobs while lowering after-tax income for all income quintiles. This isn’t a debate between growing the pie vs. redistributing the pie; it is about everyone settling for a smaller pie." The conversation also address the concerns about the loss of jobs in the energy sector and Joe Biden’s plan to put $2 trillion of taxpayer funds into green infrastructure and energy over four years.

Kimberley Strassel, a member of the editorial board for The Wall Street Journal, writes: "Mr. Biden is promising to delete the jobs of millions of Americans—at a time of soaring unemployment. A study by the National Ocean Industries Association finds that a ban on offshore drilling alone would cost 200,000 jobs, damaging regional economies. Mr. Biden would overrun the nation with solar panels, wind turbines and charging stations. Basic consumer choice would disappear for vehicles, dishwashers, even homes. The Justice Department would become a weapon against businessmen who run afoul of fast-changing progressive standards." Source: https://www.wsj.com/articles/the-campaign-finally-begins-11594941130

In light of the US elections, the discussion also covered the future of America's economy and tax policy with implications for the hardworking taxpayers. Presidential candidate Biden promised to repeal President Trump's 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, and raise new $3.4 trillion revenue by raising taxes. President Trump would maintain the Act which already generated higher rates of economic growth, record high stock prices and brought unemployment to its lowest rate in half a century - which was interrupted by #China's coronavirus.
