On Monday 9 August, the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change released its sixth assessment report, with a press release describing climate change as “widespread, rapid, and intensifying”. Professor Andy Pitman, a lead author on the IPCC’s third and fourth assessment reports, discusses the challenges facing Australia and the issues for business.
