He was institutionalized at Immaculate Conception Indian Residential School in Akłarvik (Aklavik), Akaitcho Hall in Sǫǫ̀mbak'è (Yellowknife), and Grandin College in Tthebacha (Fort Smith).</p>

How I Survived is a podcast about recreation at residential and day schools in Canada’s North that celebrates the strength, resilience, spirit, and creativity of former students and Survivors.

How I Survived is a collaboration between the NWT Recreation and Parks Association and the University of Alberta.
